This Privacy and Cookie notice tells you what to expect when Archibucks collects personal data. It applies to information we collect about:

people who register with Archibucks in relation to our recruitment services;

job applicants and our current and former employees working internally as staff employees for the Archibucks;

1. People who register with ARCHIBUCKS for recruitment services When you or your organisation register with ARCHIBUCKS, register online or apply for an advertised job online, we will make a record of personal data necessary to carry out the service for which you have registered and insert this data onto our global database. As part of the services offered to you, any personal data provided to us may therefore be stored and processed in and transferred between any of the countries in which we operate.

ARCHIBUCKS has processes in place to ensure that there are always appropriate safeguards to provide an adequate level of protection to your personal data and to ensure that your privacy rights are protected. We will only process personal data for the purpose of finding you work, to match you with appropriate candidates in accordance with the agreed service requirement or to contact you regarding the services ARCHIBUCKS provides. Only authorised ARCHIBUCKS employees have access to your data which is always processed in line with our privacy policy which enforces compliance with data protection legislation, details of which are available upon request from our data protection officer using the contact details below. By submitting a curriculum vitae or otherwise registering with ARCHIBUCKS you will be consenting to our use of any personal data in accordance with this notice.

By registering with ARCHIBUCKS you also intend us to submit your personal data to third parties for the purpose of fulfilling your requested service requirements and any associated business activities. If ARCHIBUCKS wishes to send your personal data to any third party, we will contact you first to obtain your permission. However, if we have been unable to contact you, there may be circumstances when, in your best interests and in line with your initial specification, your personal data will be submitted to a third party. If you do not want us to send your personal data to a third party without your prior permission (even when unable to contact you and in our belief that it serves your best interests) you should instruct your dedicated consultant.

All personal data collected by ARCHIBUCKS is only made available to those authorised individuals and third parties who need to handle that information for the purposes outlined in this notice. By registering with ARCHIBUCKS, whether through the website, by phone or post you consent to receive information and communications from ARCHIBUCKS. 2. Job applicants and our current and former employees working internally as staff employees for ARCHIBUCKS When individuals apply to work at ARCHIBUCKS, we will only use the information they supply to us to process their application and to monitor recruitment statistics. Where we want to disclose information to a third party, for example where we want to take up a reference we will not do so without informing them beforehand unless the disclosure is prohibited by law.

Personal data about unsuccessful candidates will be held for 12 months after the recruitment exercise has been completed, it will then be destroyed or deleted. We retain de-personalized statistical information about applicants to help inform our recruitment activities, but no individuals are identifiable from that data.

Once a person has taken up employment with ARCHIBUCKS, we will compile a file relating to their employment. The information contained in this will be kept secure and will only be used for purposes directly relevant to that person’s employment. Once their employment with ARCHIBUCKS has ended, we will retain the file only for such time as provided within our data protection policy and will then delete it.

3. Visitors to our website When someone visits www.archibucks.com we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We collect this information in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any personally identifying information from any source. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal data and will explain what we intend to do with it.

Should you register on and/or apply for jobs via our website, it will be necessary for you to provide personal information to create a secure login. In creating a secure login, you consent to ARCHIBUCKS storing and processing any provided information to provide the requested services. Any information supplied may also be inputted into our global database and as a result we may contact you with regard to other suitable vacancies. By registering on our website you consent to us processing your personal data in accordance with the provisions of this notice and contacting you directly with regard to other vacancies which ARCHIBUCKS, at its absolute discretion, deem to be appropriate.
